Many red ales are classified as either Irish or American, this beer is more of a hybrid.  It gets its red color from using Munich and crystal malts in the grain bill, and then adding a very small amount of roasted barley at the very end of the mash - adding color and not flavor. 

The ingredients for this beer are multinational - Munich malt, english hops, and scottish yeast.

0.5 oz. East Kent Goldings hops (7.0 Alpha) 20 minutes
0.5 oz. East kent Goldings hops (7.0 Alpha) 10 minutes
1 teaspoon Irish Moss
Edinburgh Yeast (White Labs WLP 028)
