This beer was brewed with yeast that a friend, Jamie Wika, gave me. Its the Fuller's strain - named for the English brewery He had used it in a batch (a porter I think) and gave me a jar of the yeast slurry. I kept the fermentation temperatures low-ish on this batch, 62 degrees, so it would have a relatively 'clean' flavor profile. When it was done, I harvested, washed and am storing some of the yeast in de-oxygenated water in the fridge, to use in an upcoming India Pale Ale batch.
